Ok ok..I get it! I may be taking a lot more weight on this journey than expected...but hear me out!
FULL DISCLOSURE!
I am a bit lazy at times and the procrastinator in me usually hits the snooze button for my "Wake up and Exercise" alarm in the AM. Given that I am too mentally drained to even have a conversation with the rest of my body in the first place I am slowly, yet surely, allotting time to rest adequately! So now, I am ready to commit to a lifestyle change that has been needed for a very long time. My body has been talking...and I am finally listening!The universe certainly has a way of aligning your expectations with your reality.
So there I was, minding my own business on social media, when up popped the Biggest Loser Challenge ad by CJ Fitness. The lightbulb went off! FINALLY!!! Something that I can handle with my current work schedule (Let's not even get into that) AND the fitness centre is a 10mins drive away from my home at Energie Antigua! Woop Woop!!
So maybe you're wondering what inspired me to take this challenge on. Well, where are my major reasons:
- I suffer from Hypertension and I've had a few health scares in the past. Too often, we wait until its too late to put arwe foot inna arwe back pocket and run away from the things that are having a negative impact on us mentally and physically. I am trusting the major signs that I've been given lately with regards to my health!
- When I looked on the poster, I realized that my really good friend's sister was the winner of the last installment of the Biggest Loser Challenge! Jan looks AMAZING! I am absolutely certain that it was not a walk in the park and her results are proof that it is all worth it! #JanIsMyInspiration

- After sharing the ad about the challenge on my social media platform with the caption, "Who's coming with me?", a few queens contacted me to inquire about how serious I was about this and that they were ready to push through as well, providing that we had a support system to keep each other in check for the next few months! JACKPOT!! Having a female fitness tribe is gonna be super awesome!!!!
- I love the fact that this challenge will not be televised as well! #NoEssay #ThatIsAll
- Last but not least: After one of my most recent shoots with Trending Fitness Apparel, I realized that there was a lot of work to be done to chisel a few lbs off! Now don't get me wrong (and nah come for me....AGAIN *in my Antiguan tone*), I LOVE my legs, arms *drools*, butt, and hips! However, trimming a few inches off the entire package won't hurt! Besides, looking pretty darn fabulous while working out is always a plus! Look Good • Feel Good • Be Good to Yourself!

So Fluff OR Fit!?!? Why not embrace both!? Its about time we LOVE what we transport on a daily basis! I may not be the fittest fiddle in the room, but amma make sure I can produce a note!
