This is where the LHF Motorsports powered LadyMex Workshop is able to meet the demand of women who are eager to learn the fundamentals about how their vehicle operate! So what is the LadyMex Workshop? The LadyMex (Lady Mechanics) Workshop is an interactive and fun way to learn all about your car, how to talk to mechanics and what to do in the event of an emergency. We provide a safe space for women to:      •  ask any questions they may have about their car,     •  release the shame of being an uneducated car owner and gain empowerment,      •  educate women to become more confident and safe drivers. Ok ok..I get it! I may be taking a lot more weight on this journey than expected...but hear me out! FULL DISCLOSURE! I am a bit lazy at times and the procrastinator in me usually hits the snooze button for my "Wake up and Exercise" alarm in the AM. Given that I am too mentally drained to even have a conversation with the rest of my body in the first place I am slowly, yet surely, allotting time to rest adequately! So now, I am ready to commit to a lifestyle change that has been needed for a very long time. My body has been talking...and I am finally listening! The universe certainly has a way of aligning your expectations with your reality. So there I was, minding my own business on social media, when up popped the Biggest Loser Challenge ad by CJ Fitness . The lightbulb went off! FINALLY!!! Something that I can handle with my current work schedule (Let's not even get into that) AND the fitness centre is a 10mins drive away from my home at  Energie Antigu...

More often than not, we see a very cute outfit online, purchase it, try it on, thennnnnnn...HATE IT!!!  Why? I've been longing to get glammed up,because I've been so caught up planning the   Lady Horsepower Farm   LadyMex Workshop  that comes up on Sunday 13th October 2019. As per usual,  House of Pink  reached out to get me fitted for upcoming events and such! It's always fun playing dress up!   Soooo...my first stop was the Barber! [I'll do a separate blog on these guys who crack me up on a regular!] I was in the process of growing my hair because I've missed having them braided! Pfftt....there goes that plan! I'm kinda glad that I gave my head the  dog seed  special [will talk about that in another post], because these selfies would not have screamed BUTTAZ if I hadn't. Meep! Next stop,  MAKE UP !! For my most recent appearances, I've summoned the lovely Daveile Payne •  The Glam Muse  to enhance what's already perfect!  *flicks scalp*   Huge shout out to my chocolate gum drop and Melanin ...

Sometimes 4am - 1pm, other times 8am - 5pm. (For the record) I've always vowed to myself that a 'desk job' will never be something that I'd wake up to do... EVER ! With that being said, I've tailored my life thru my decisions, to nest perfectly in an occupation that makes me use my hands and brains. [No offense to the hard working men and women that sit behind a desk all day.] It was either automotive or aviation maintenance and engineering. It’s pretty awesome when you can do both too! *wink wink* So what's my job? Well, apart from kicking the tires (not literally), it's my responsibility to ensure that the tasks generated by the engineering department is followed as per the manual to ensure that the safety of the aircraft and it's crew/passengers is not compromised in anyway when put on the line with the intention to fly. ...that's basically the long and short of it all! It is currently 10mins to midnight and I'm up! To think that I have to get up at 3 am to work for 4 am. 😒 I am up...thinking...about life! (With Scandal playing in the background. Yea...Olivia is an absolute monster!!) ...but I digress. I've been procrastinating all in the name of comfort and I need to keep it together.
